ICANN's Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP) defines
how to resolve disputes over domain names (.biz, .com, .info, .name,
.net, .org, .pro, .ws, .aero, .coop, .museum). In accordance with the
Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy, you can dispute a claim
to a domain name by following the dispute process.
Should I enter valid contact information when
registering a domain names?
ICANN, the governing body for domain names,
requires valid Contact Information for each domain contact
(Registrant, Technical, Billing, and Administrative).
If you enter false information, your domain name
will be cancelled.
Your contact information is public and is made
available through the WhoIs databases of most Registrars. However, we
do offer a solution to help protect your privacy. You can register and
renew
your domain name with us using our private domain name registration
services.

Can I
register/renew domain names in bulk quantities?
Yes. You can mix any domain
extensions in your purchase. Bulk pricing is applied based upon the
total number of domains in your list—no matter which domain extensions
you enter. For instance, if you had 49 .com domains and 3 .biz
domains, the entire order would qualify under bulk pricing for 50-100
domains.
Can I renew domain
names registered with another
registrar through your company?
Yes, you can renew through us now and not have to
pay the other registrars renewal fees. Keep in mind that ICANN
regulations prohibit transferring a domain name that has been
registered or previously transferred within the last 60 days. Also,
you need to start the transfer process at least 10 days before your
domain name expires.
What happens when my domain
name registration
expires?
-
The domain name is automatically renewed if you
have enabled this option. If nor or if the card on file is declined,
you are notified notified up to three times before the domain enters
the redemption period.
-
Following the
third and final auto-renewal attempt—12 days after the domain
registration has expired—the domain enters a redemption period, during
which you may retrieve your domain name for an additional fee and
renew it by contacting customer support. The redemption period lasts
30 days.
-
One week into the redemption period, the expired
domain—assuming that its registration has not been renewed—is placed
into a 10-day domain auction, allowing prospective registrants to bid
on the domain. The winner of the auction obtains the domain
registration ownership two weeks after the auction end date if the
original owner fails to renew the domain by the end of the redemption
period.
-
Once the redemption period ends—and the domain has
neither been renewed nor obtained through auction or backordering—the
domain is deleted at the registry. The domain name re-enters the
public pool of available domains, and may be registered by anyone.
Will my domain name be auctioned off if I allow
its registration to expire?
Yes. One week into the redemption period, the expired
domain—assuming that its registration has not been renewed—is placed
into a 10-day domain auction, allowing prospective registrants to bid
on the domain. The winner of the auction obtains the domain
registration ownership two weeks after the auction end date if the
original owner fails to renew the domain by the end of the redemption
period.
What is the redemption grace period?
The redemption grace period is a 30-day window
that occurs when a domain registrant fails to renew a domain’s
registration. Instead of being deleted and returned to the pool of
domain names available for registration, the name is held for a 30-day
grace period during which the original domain registrant may retrieve
the domain name (for an additional fee) by contacting the domain
registrar. If the registrant fails to retrieve the domain during this
30-day window, it is deleted at the registry.
How can I renew my domain
name if it is in the redemption period?
Please contact Customer Support to begin the
retrieval process. Please note that we can assist in retrieving your
domain only if your domain was registered with us. If your domain was
registered with another registrar, you must contact that registrar for
information regarding retrieval of your domain name.
What do I do if I have a trademark dispute?
Unfortunately, we cannot make any changes to the
registrant fields without a legal change of ownership, a court order,
or an order by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
If you feel that you are the rightful owner of the
domain name, please contact the registrant of the domain name. If you
are unable to find a satisfactory solution with the current
registrant, you need to settle the issue with a court order. We do not
get involved in domain disputes. We cannot make changes to a
registrant field without a legal change of ownership or a court order.
Discrepancies with trademark or rightful ownership
are handled by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
Their email address is domain.disputes@wipo.int. If a domain name is
under a dispute, we lock the domain name once the WIPO notifies us. It
cannot be modified or transferred to another registrar. Once we
receive a court or WIPO ruling we update the domain name accordingly.
